Olympia Granola Unveils Life-Size Granola BarPosted: January 23, 2012
“Granola
Guy” seeks to rid the world of suspicious ingredients and spread the truth
about all-natural gourmet granola bars. North Branch, MN -- The world’s premier
producer of gourmet granola bars has a new spokesperson, and he’s ready to take
a bite out of unhealthy eating habits. In a bold move Wednesday, Olympia Granola signed
a deal with one whom many are calling the world’s healthiest mascot. Granola Guy is a high-energy, high-protein,
high-fiber kick-in-the-face to the plethora of non-natural food energy sources.
Despite his track record of fighting flaky nutrition, it’s only now that this
granola guru has decided to go public with his message.
“Now more than ever, people need to know the
truth about what they’re eating,” said Granola Guy. “In my opinion, Olympia
Granola has nothing to hide and everything to love. Besides, it’s hip to be
square.”
Olympia Granola plans to make Granola Guy a
very visible presence – and a reminder that you are what you eat – at various
races, outdoor events, and tradeshows in the coming year.
“I think Granola Guy is going to be an
excellent addition to our team,” said Bill Forsman, President of Olympia
Granola. “He’s going to make this world a healthier place – one granola bar at
a time.”
When he's not at shows and events,
Granola Guy spends his time exercising, eating right, and fielding questions
about his entrance into the public square. “I mean, call me dense, but I’m just
a simple guy with a simple mission. All I want is to help people live healthier,
more productive lives.” Apparently, great food speaks for itself.

The industry website BarsAreFood.com recently reviewed our Chocolate Peanut Trail bar, with delicious results.
"All in all, this bar tastes very much like something that you'd make at home - and we meant that in a good way."
With a 4.5 out of 5 stars we're pretty pleased.(Our 2 servings per
bar nutritional info threw them off. Some folks break the bar in two -
personally, we gobble down the whole thing!)
Many thanks to the team at Bars are Food for their kind words.
